Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding was born Elena Jane Goulding in Hereford on December 30, 1986. Ellie Goulding, a British singer-songwriter who rose to fame in the year 2010 when her smash singles Guns and Horses and Starry Eyed caught public attention. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding has an unique soprano scream and a knack for writing emotional songs with inspiring lyrics. Similar to her peers Kate Bush or Imogen, she is at forefront of contemporary mainstream pop as well as the artful independent music. Polydor Records, a major music label, signed the singer and began preparations to release her debut album.
