Ellie Goulding was born Elena Jane Goulding in Hereford on December 30, 1986. Ellie Goulding, a British singer-songwriter who rose to fame in the year 2010 when her smash singles Guns and Horses and Starry Eyed caught public attention. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop.
